Preface
This blog post is the part 2 of "Le Canevas du Thaumaturge V0" [link].
Beauty:
Except in some exception, a good design always need to be beautiful and functional, which is the core design philosophy of my Neo Classical/Elysium style. The exception to that rule, somewhat, are object that are only made for beauty and inspiring like statues, fountains, some monuments, etc. Real beauty can resonate with your soul and help you aspire to higher purposes instead of the modern nihilism and the aimlessness so prevalent in modern peoples.
By nature, people think beauty is mostly subjective, in the eye of the beholder, which is partially true since some beauty can resonate more with a soul than the next (for example in the context of shared culture with the creator of that beauty), but in reality real beauty is mostly objective, only hard to precisely quantify. I have taken a great time analyzing beautiful designs, coming up with some rule that differentiate ugly designs, ok designs and masterpieces, and coming up with some aspect that highlight that real beauty is objective. Those aspect of real beauty that make it objective, is that beautiful designs are :
Intemporal : beautiful past buildings like palaces, parliaments, cathedrals and churches are still beautiful nowadays;
Acultural : an Asian can appreciate a traditional European building and an European can appreciate a traditional Asian building; and
Independent of prior knowledge : anyone can appreciate and find beautiful a cathedral or palace without having deep knowledge in the crafting techniques, and the mathematics behind the geometries.
[relate to rule of uniqueness that a design need to be adapted to the local culture for harmony space and time]
[relate to rule of dept and details]
Typical error in analyzing/perceiving beauty that3 people do subconsciously because of the corrupted society values and teaching paradigm :
My learning simply came from fussy inspiration throughout my life and analyzing beauty in all it's forms, and I came to realize that I have converge with a lot of past thinkers on most of the subjects that I cover in this blog (from finding different examples of what I discuss here). It is not only a fact that I am good at seeing patterns, but it is also something that some will come to by deeply contemplating reality, genuinely looking at the universe, and seeking truths.
The current iteration of the beauty section is more of a place holder for some images and rules that I will go more into details in the V1.
Rule of Transition:
you can also see in the 3 pictures of the posts above, the clear pattern that most building should take, which is the smae patern as a colomn. Similarly a colomn proportions is impared by nature, in this case a tree. Where you have the roots at the bottom, the long trunk, than the canope/branches/leaves. Similarly the colomn have have a clear distinction at the bottom, a long somewhat uniform middle cylinder, than it is caped by another shapes. The natural idea beind those proportion is that you need a transition on both end of a column, otherwise it would be disonant and harsh. This rule of transition will be talked more in the Beauty section. as can be seen in this image
the same principle can be used in the case we need to build high rise and skyscraper in a city for the desired population density. We can use a bottom part in a traditional style (maybe 5 to 7 floors), than more floors in a modern glass skyscraper style, than capped it with a traditional look for the last 5 to 7 floors. This would make it harmonious with other calssical design building while having the functionality of modern skyscrapper. Some exemples can be seen in the other picture inspiration section (not exactly like i am describing but one of the building is made of glass but capped in classical design). Some glass tower can be made to resemble a stained glass colomn. [add old image from cell with stained glass towers]
Singapore building rule on greenery. tree and park in middle floors and side
We think ourselves so much better and more intelligent than our forefathers, we have so much resources, knowledge, and capacity, but we regress in lots of metrics. We have so much food and better medicine, yet are more unhealthy than ever; we have crazy designing tools, manufacturing and building machines, yet we make uglier and uglier buildings and cities, that last less time before needing to be demolished and rebuilt. In short, modern buildings and designs have no soul, no real uniqueness. In the past you could identify cities by their unique/iconic designs such as the UK red phone booths, or that the London architecture is different than Paris, Barcelona, etc. Here are some good X/Twitter and Instagram posts relating to the regression in architecture, art and beauty that I am talking about.

keep beauty and functionality
beauty in work. take the time to consider the detail, the craftmanship, not fast. japan is one of the culture that has kept its craftmanship in everyting. japanese reparation bowl philosophie.
to not search for beauty and macking ugly stuff is a symptome of a society deeply illm that their soul and morals are tainted.
beauty in general work, be detail oriented, good craftmanship not just in physical stuff but also in general work and service. be happy and feeling fufilled to have acomplish a great job, long term and beautiful. instead of fast and ugly and barely functional
beauty of the human body, its intricacies and complexity. your body is your temple. cultivate your intelect, and morals (3 pillars of being the Paragon of You). a good grain in good soil.
beauty in the society in general by good morals and fondational values. there can be beauty in the small things and big things
Being healty individually and as a society (body, , creating beautiful objects, building and cities in modern time seems impossible, but it is in reality enevitable, the human speaces (west?) will rise again to higher high instead of behing in the shadows of our forefathers (the suposed time of peasant that created so much beauty in all it's forms). There will be ups and down, hurdles along the way and raging torrent to sweep us away from our path, but work really worth doing, it worth doing well, meticulously, valantly and to the end. Beauty in your internal trinity (see Paragon section). Beauty and quality in the work you do.
a lot of rule of beauty appear naturally as they are rooted in biomemetism and human psychology. of the rules within creation
real beauty survive through time and culture and observator. people think beauty is subjective, which there is a part that is true, but for the most part it is "measurable".
error of beauty in the modern eye. confunding beauty with looks like it cost a lot. confunding beauty with its new and i am not used to see that.
confunding beauty with "it most be hard to maintain"
people also think beauty and good building cost to much. it is a lie for the most part. make to last cost less in the long run
modern "beauty" is white cube house souless hospital. milenium grey.
Rule of Transition
exemple on the floor at edge before wall. bottom and top wall. column, scyscrapper, normal building. wall direction change on bottom moulure like ig video.
Rule of Balance.
between Monotonous to chaotic. Nuance in order
The bowl will probably be made of stabilized wood, corian or artificial stone, malachite or stained glass in the void of the voronoi mesh. For a case stabilized wood or malachite, I would use the bowl in a plain geometry, without the voronoi mesh, otherwise it would become too chaotic. I will slightly touch upon the rule of Balance in the Beauty section of part 2. The same is applicable if I used those tpe of visually loaded material for the hairpins. In this case I would use a visually loaded material with a plain looking geometry.
a good exemple of balance is using 2 tone painting on a flat wall, instantly it look better. but might be a bit to much with filigree and painting cadre. same as the hairpin and soap bar holder plain geometry with rich material like malachite. event better with deep red roman clay.
Weight (void and volume, distance and weight)
Symmetry
Rule of Proportion
This one is hard to precessely describe.
not too tale in thin, flimsy. new york super thin but tall building is ugly just by its proportions. simarly for the tree taller than sequoia but super thin. ugly flimsy without the canope, but have ok proportion with the canope
Rule of the uniqness (of the human soul).
we can not simple copy past a design within a neighbourhood, city or from multiple cities. a centralized tram can be use and the specific design slightly ajusted from one city to the next, but it is important to give each one its uniqness, its soul. red phone booth in uk. when people see a whole neiborhood with the same building, they dont like it
it robe the soul of passion. I is no wonder there is more mental health issue nowadays, that peopl feel hollow and devoided of purpose. Beautiful art and architecture is not a complet answer to this, but it is a big factor in it. elevate the soul and inspired people to something higher than them, of the long term. statue? elevate the soul and inspired people to something higher than them, of the long term. statue?
⁃ We can be so much more as a colective. Humanity potential is endless, we just need to change the current paradigm and embrace a higher calling. I think real beauty, classical art and architecture can help elevate ourselve
separate this section in the good individual sub rules
I will do a later post about the balance of beauty in art and architecture, from the symmetry, the proportions and ratios, the balance between monotonous to chaotic, the transitions in geometries, dimensionalities (like horizontal floor to vertical wall) and in space with different functionalities, and the harmonies from small to big (like fractal or nesting dolls). Harmony in time also, put neo classical architecture in europe will be inspired by old classical architecture of europe, the same way asian neo classical will not be the same (will it can still retain some of the same design principle). real beauty is timeless, can be appreciated by anyone from any culture, can be beautyfull at surface level and beautiful in its detail by un expert that knows the technique and hidden dept. an landscape painting is beautiful at surface level because it depict nature, but another expert/artist can see also the hidden technique and craftmanship necessary to execute the piece. the same way a cathedral is beautiful at surface level, when you enter it there is beautiful in its painting and geometries and arches, but an expert can see the hidden dept in the proportion, the statue and painting portraying scene/people, the hidden numbers, the masonic technique to make the stones, the way they build a big roof arch with arc boutant to hold the roof while keeping as much sun light going through the windows, etc. the history of the person depicted in a statue. Another key point in beautiful, majestic and grandiose designs is in framing the view/environment. Some examples are St-Peter's Square (Wiki, and a picture example with the proper framing) in the Vatican, and another is trees on each side of a road leading to a mansion (Wiki, and some examples). A place I feel that does not do it properly from the perspective of someone on the ground is the Forbidden City inner courtyard in China (Wiki) where the wall/building on each side are too far away and too small to properly frame the human view (example of the improper framing). Good framing can evoke and inspire deep emotions of wonder in the human heart and come in the most primordial form as a landscape where someone at the top of a mountain, see a valley with a forest and lake nested with the background and side are mountains. You can see good examples of this here, here and in the elven city Rivendell (Wiki, another image and a video) of Lord of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien (Wiki), which as inspired by the Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland (Wiki, image)

the same principle of beauty can be applied to any culture but the end product most be adapted to the local culture, history and tradition. exemple of a japanese style house that is beautiful without being exactly traditional.:

Paragon logo & philosophy:
The Paragon logo is made of the Lotus Flower and the Seed of Life sacred geometry. The lotus flower symbolize the Trinity (mind/knowledge, body/physique and morals). The 6+1 circles is the Seed of Life (the beginning of an intention and of something greater). For me all of that symbolize finding your path in life, your passions, knowledge to interact in a complex modern world and being the best YOU you can be. The intention is to do a school/family/life program at some point. You become a Paragon of You! To become a paragon of you, you necessarily need to cultivate all three facets of the Trinity. You can find my Instagram post on it here.
All politician and "leader" should be Paragon, but almost none of them are. Noblesse oblige, serviam, knight oat, bushido, templar, crusader, heaviness of the crown, cloak, scepter, sword, rosary, bible
Your body is your temple, your mind is your (santified?) santuary. Be very delibarate and mindful about which though, mentality, world view and your underpining pillar of resoning you let germinated and fester into your mind. Your own underpining pillars of reasoing onto which will affect all your perception of reality. Similarly, be delibarate about how you cultivate your body. The body, mind/intelect and morals/soul (Paragon) are deeply connected, if you neglect one of them, the rot will fester to other part of your trinity.
Thaumaturge's logo:
The first image is the draft logo I choose for the Thaumaturge. A thaumaturge is a creator of wonders. The logo is a double T which represent the acronym of my trademark/username. I got inspiration from the Cross of Lorraine (also called Patriarchal cross) and the Torri Gate (from the Japanese Shinto religion). This symbolizes the kind of art I will do which take inspiration from occidental and oriental cultures, from art, symbolism and morals. The spike at the bottom of the logo is that I envision a real version of the logo could be rammed into the earth, which symbolized that you can have grand aspirations (higher calling or working for something greater than yourself) but you still need to be deeply grounded. The 3 corners of the logo form an equilateral triangle that symbolized the trinity of the junction between body, spirit/intellect and morals/soul. You can find my Instagram post on it here.
Jesus Christ Cross:
Is debated among scholar but the Tau ("T") cross was probably the real shape that was use to crucify Jesus, as seen in early Christian depiction. Another interesting fact is about the proportions of Jesus at crucifixion:
The 4 arms of the cross symbolize the compass, the way/path. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
The slight upper angle of Jesus' arm make is head and halo rest exaction at the junction of the cross.
The length of a finger tip of a hand to another finger tip of the other hand, when spread like that, have almost the same length as the body is tall (called the ape index in rock climbing, and can be seen in the Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci), but slightly longueur on average. With the natural "resting" position when the hands and feet are nailed to the cross, it make the nails on an exact equilateral triangle. This is a strong symbolism of 3 which is the Trinity (Father, son and spirit) and it's why a lot of churches use an equilateral triangle to represent the Trinity. The trinity can also be the body, mind/spirit and morals/soul like in my Paragon logo and the lotus flower.
My logo fundamentally incorporate those proportions, those symbolism (3 and 4), but in my case I also have the 2 with the T with double bar (Blackboard Bold). When I put my logo within a circle (such as the case for apps), it also has the benefit of symbolizing 1. 1 is oneness and represent "I am" which is the word of God/Yahweh and Jesus meaning that they are everything and infinite. In my case it would be way to much pretentious and blasphemous to allude that I am infinite or to their level (whatever your Work and virtues, we can not even begin to compare to them), and it is also a very dangerous slippery slope to even try to usurp part of their divine nature. But this does not prevent from imitating and learning from the work and master piece of the highest possible Creator of wonders, in humility. Similarly, we should study the work and masterpiece of our forefather creators. In my case, Le Thaumaturge, I am the creator of my universe and wonders (the tapestry of art, architecture, cities, machines, tech, health and other that I create). The TT logo also have the symbolism, by the style of its form, of merging occident to orient (cover the whole globe west to east) in the fundamental appearance of my logo.

i will also make some cross design since i find the geometry as a lot of dept in beauty and symbolism. Like the nails position create an equilateral triangle, the 3 top arm make also a 3. 4 arms in total with the lower one bigger at least 2 time. can make an infinite fractal greek cross type. make the 3 top arm make an equilateral triangle, flag pole. withou even going into the symbolism of jesus christ.

Phoenix - and Heraldry:
Some of the images of phoenix where taken from Displate (here, here, here and here). The phoenix (or similar mythical bird) have appeared in multiple cultures around the world.
It is mostly based on these 4 real birds:
Golden pheasant : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_pheasant
Duck
Parrot
Swallow
Here are the name and link of phoenix or mythical birds throught different cultures
Greek Phoenix (occidental) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_(mythology)
Chinese's Fenghuang : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fenghuang
Luanniao : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luanniao
Originally the Feng, was the male bird, and the Huang, the female bird. The Fenghuang is the union of male and female.
Symbolised the union of male and female, sixth celestial body. Sing of , armony, prosperity and virtue. Royal and weddings.
Japanese's ho-o / hou-ou / Hoo-oo :
It is mostly the same as the Frenghuang from China
Egyptian's Bennu: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bennu
Persian's mythos Simurgh : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simurgh
Indian's Chakor:

add wiki and pages about the phoenix in china, in japan, in europe it is jesus christ
the phoenix also symbolise the cycles of civilisation, the cycle of the years/season, sun rise/twilight to glory/zenith to downfall/dawn, the same for the moon cycles.
symbolism sun (man, type of meditation, light) and moon (woman, type of meditation, where the monster lurks, dark)
⁃ The sun path in the day and moon cycle mimic human cycles. Darkness, rising, glory, downfall. The phoenix also highlight that cycle of death and rebirth of civilisation. Hinduism cycle? oroboros cycles?
the logo/flag/eraldry of Elysium might be phoenix. I have not yet choosen if I am using it for my family heraldry or the city's. probably family, does it exclude elysium? I like the idea of the phoenix having 2 heads like the russian heraldy. One for physical and one for spiritual leader. I will probably design a symbolic/ceremonial patriachal sword (for the leader of my dynastie throughout the generations) where the handle and cross guard is the phoenix with 2 heads (both wings are the guard while 1 head is on each side in the middle of the guard. The handle itself might be engraved with 4 helix spirals containing 7 petals flowers along the paths like Kyle Royer present at 20:38 in this video. The heads positions would not bit like the stock image i found online of a sword with eagle heads
symbolism of phoenix? animal are cool, harmonius with our past with an eagle (roman, german, american) will mystique. combine occident and orient. rebirth symbolise the renaissance i want to help create, resurection of jesus. I will go more in dept with the sword design and symbolism when I creat more concrete designs
phoenix symbolised angels. human aspiring to go higher spiritually, morally, intelectually and physically
3 animal part in the phoenix. golden phesant resemble a bit in real life. on my farm and future mansion/estate. dougle head eagle russian
bizantine empire
ok pour phoenix with the city but add some other thing on the flag. like aristocratic in the past it will clearly say it is my territory/influence. might be 1 head. have a saint halo (sun ray, thorn). not sure what in the claws
I will do at a later stage a saint halo design with sun ray and thorn
talk saint halo on phoenix, radiating sun like imperial japan, etc.
halo description. thron/martyr, sun ray/ spread the message to people, basic halo for saint.
talk the symbolic, represent renaissance, our history, eagles animal are cool, jesus, elysium and the heraldry of my futur familly. there will be slight modification from one variation to the other depending on the exact case it represent, but they will have a common symbolic architecture/archetype. harmony in time with our forefather/ancestor and historical culture.

Similarly, the swastika is a symbol with old history in budism and was use by the Hachisuka clan. I have joint some interesting flags from samurai clans, of Oda Nobunaga (1 of the 3 great unifier of Japan), Daimyo (feudal lords), and of the Sengoku period (the Warring States era).

TT Numerology - Symbolism and relationship of triplet 11, 12 and 13 (and world occurrences) :
Similarly the number 12 comes frequently in history (in my TT numerology it symbolize "order"). The 12 tribe of Israel, the 12 stones of New Jerusalem Temple (they are all anisotropic and shine in rainbow colors when exposed to cross polarized laser light. Those stones are : Jasper, Sapphire, Calcedony, Emerald, Sardonyx, Sardius, Chrysolyte, Beryl, Topaz, Chrysoprasus, Jacinth and Amethyst. You can see a video on the subject here, and here), the 12 knights of the Round Table (king Arthur), 12 paladins of king Charlemagne court, the number base 12 used by the Mesopotamians/Sumerians (Duodecimal and Sexagesimal system), the 12 Heavenly Generals and 12 Ornaments in China, and the 12 astrological Zodiac constellation. Similarly, Atlantis is estimated to have sunk 12 000 year ago (acording to to Plato retailing from Egyptian scolars of the time), but Atlantis was a confederation of 10 kings and their respective kingdom. The human hand is naturally good to count in base 12. The number 12 come naturally as a good base in math. The mesopotamian where using the base 12 because it is a better based than 10 since 12 can be divided by 1,2,3,4,6 and 12 instead of 10 can only be divided by 1,2,5 and 10. You can count to higher number with 1 hand that goes to 12 is you count per finger bone (see image) and with the second hand you get to 60 (or even 144 if you use the finger bones of the second hand instead). It is way we use 60 for minutes in 1 hour and 360 degress in a circle. I will go more in dept of using 12 or 13 (people think of it as bad luck, but in TT numerology I see it as "chaos") to divide the year (if you use the chaos number to divide, you get order with the International Fixed Calendar, if you divide with the order number you get some chaos. You have the 12 Apostles of Jesus (with the 13 being Juda that traitor, but was necessary according to Christianity, so Jesus could pay the Justice of our sins). You also have 13 moon cycle per year, the balance of order and chaos is literally inscribe in the cosmos.
Similarly woman have 13 menstruation cycle per year on average (they are more attuned to the moon). It is one reason of many (also the natural type of meditation in the light/day versus in darkness/night ) that in my symbolism men are more symbolized by the sun and woman by the moon (the occidental culture typically had that since the Egyptian mythos, but it is reverse in the Japanese mythology if I am correct, based on their gods). I will go more in dept in a future blog post.
The number 13 also has symbolic connection to the serpent, such as the 13th zodiac constellation of Ophiuchus/Serpentarius (Ophiuchus in astrology), which is described as aa man grasping a serpent, similar to the Greek myth of Perseus killing Medusa, of Hercules killing the Lernean Hydra and An Athlete Wrestling with a Python. which as connection to serpent asteroid tail portrayed in the old archeological site of Gobekli Tepe (see the theory of Graham Hancock in is Ancient Apocalypse series), to the Forbidden Fruit given to Eve (which convinced Adam) in Garden of Eden by the serpent lucifer.
12 and 13 form a triplet with the number 11. 11 symbolize an angel number and "destiny", "providence". Your destiny should be a road made of order but sprinkles with some chaos intersessions, that forge your self and help you grow to your real potential. Without those hurdles (within managable levels), you will remain a baby (unaware of the reality of this world), a sheep, a boat without rudder and helm (steering wheel) destined to be brought by whichever direction and vagaries the wind and current take you.

The Thaumaturge's eyes, hands, body & avatar:
This is the Thaumaturge's eye draft. The proportions/shapes might change but I will use those general shapes (based on super ellipses where you can see the specific equation in one of the images) for the eye representation of the Thaumaturge. I might use it for some jewelry like an “evil eye” charm (bracelet, necklace, earring, ring, etc.), and for the eyes of a future VTubing type avatar. I got inspiration from the “Eye of God” nebula (also called the Helix Nebula) and Sauron's eye. I will also make the pupil and part of the iris as the image representation of our universe on a circle (with a logarithm type of scaling) that you see in one of the images. This will symbolize that the eye, which is typically tough as a window to the soul, is a portal to the Thaumaturge universe (in this case, the Demiurge naming might make sense). Another inspiration from the cosmos, might be the nebula called the Fingers of God nebula (or Pillars of Creation) that I could use for the hand of the Thaumaturge. You can find my Instagram post on it here.

How to Reference le Thaumaturge's works:
"𝕋", Blackboard Bold, which in math represent a defined set of number
"T", boldface.
T initial ?
T with the double horizontal bar, with a stroke (closer to TT logo) or vector (symbolize a direction initiated by Le Thaumaturge like the TT-Renaissance) on top :

The simplest way to reference me and my work is by using "TT" (double T side by side). where "TT" is the abbreviation for ThaumaTurge. For example, I say "TT numerology" to reference my numerology.
"Le Thaumaturge"
Le Thaumaturge logo
"Le Thaumaturge et al." in short reference in scientific papers, white papers, in patent reference, or other formal documents.
a Tau cross or normal cross replacing the "T" in "Thaumaturge" for when doing religious inspired work.
